Sunday, February 12th: 
The 4th annual “Salty Dog Sunday” benefitting Glynn County 4H will take place from 5-8pm at the Club at Bennie’s Red Barn.  For only $12.00 you can enjoy mouth-watering all you can eat Southern BBQ and great live music featuring “Three of Us”.  They will also have a live and silent auction with some great gifts and door prizes.  All raised funds will further Glynn County 4H activities, provide college scholarships and assist in sending lower-income active 4H’ers to summer 4H camp.  There is always a great turnout and a great time for a great cause!  For tickets and additional information contact Teresa Mason at 638-8695, Matthew Permar at 638-2765 or Lea King-Badyna at 638-2396.  Or you can send an email to saltydogsunday@yahoo.com

WEDNESDAY:
The Village Inn & Pub is hosting Trivia Night (with Pate Hall) every Wednesday, starting around 8:30pm.  This is a lot of fun, bring your team and compete…if you’re missing Trivia at the Pub, you’re missing out! 


THURSDAY:
Josh Alves plays at the Blackwater Grill in Redfern Village for the Paisley Partini Party sponsored by Paisley Magazine, 5:30 till 7:30pm.  Come out and enjoy the Golden Isles’ largest “Girls Night Out” with wine specials, “paisley martini’s” and great prizes!

Enjoy “Shaggin’ at Ziggy’s!”  Golden Isles Shag Club meets on Thursday nights at Ziggy Mahoney's with Beach Music DJ Wayne Bennett.  No cover charge.  Free Shag lessons with GISC members starting at 7 pm with DJ Wayne spinning the best in Beach, Boogie and Blues till 10pm.  Doors open at 6pm for food and beverages.

Pier Pressure (Brenda & Dan Vashaw with Scott Bachman) will be playing inside at Sea Jay’s on Jekyll Island, 7-9pm. 

"Three of Us" (Bill Townsend & Bo Fox with Marie Toler on bongo's and percussion instruments) will be playing at the Village Inn & Pub, 8:00-10:30pm, every Thursday night.  Check out their excellent harmonies on songs from the 60's and 70's by the Beatles, the Everly Brothers, Ricky Nelson, Simon and Garfunkel, Bob Dylan, Jimmy Buffett and many others.  And just watch and be amazed at Marie, with her awesome vocals, bongo drums and arsenal of percussion instruments.... come and see why the Village Pub is packed on Thursdays!!

The O’Reallys host OPEN MIC night this Thursday at Locos Grill & Pub, 9pm.  Bring your instrument and your talent!

Keenan Carter will be singing and playing all beach music and oldies from 8-11pm at Ziggy's.  Then at 11pm, DJ Jess will join Ziggy on stage playing hip hop, country, disco, etc.  Ziggy's is the largest and voted most popular dance club on the Island.

Fully Loaded (“Lightning Joe” Schimmel and Bo Fox) will be performing at the Village Inn & Pub on Friday night from 8:30pm until 11:30pm.  Be ready for some awesome vocals and guitar playing all night.  Come on by for some great music and tasty drinks.  As always, there is never a cover charge at the Village Inn & Pub.

Karl W.
